HOME X is a project about perceiving and constructing everyday culture. The project was developed between December 2001 and November 2002. In this time 19 audio-visual performances were presented in Germany, Cuba (festival INTERNOS 2002), and Brazil (FILE festival Sao Paulo 2002). The installation was first presented in october 2002.
By the end of 2002, the database contains information about 36 living quarters, stored as about 90 minutes of interview recordings, 90 minutes of environmental sounds, and 72 panoramic photos. In addition, some 70 minutes of video recordings have been stored to be used for performances.
