Some of the artists taking part in the project live in Gaza and are not able to travel to Ramallah. Had a video conference in the morning to discuss the work plans and start cooperations. We hope to meet during the works for the installation, which will be exhibited oct 28th in Ramallah, at the Goethe-Institut. If possible we will travel to Gaza – if not we will have a virtual cooperation, exchanging materials via internet. discussions are not easy like that.

Installing workspace at the Ramallah Young Artist Forum. This Non-Governmental-Organisation (one of the numerous NGOs here in Palestine) is hosting the project up from today. All painting classes and other activities here are delayed to give the trans4m orchestra project space.

We managed to buy chicken-boxes on the market. Some fruitsellers gave us their old transport boxes, fitting exactly to our plan for the installation. Funny discussions about dirty plasticboxes in arts projects.

Tomorrow morning we will have a video conference with the artists in Gaza, who will participate in the work sending video, sound and fotographs. Until now they don´t have the permit to come to Ramallah to join the work here. We will see.
GTZ is helping with the technical equipment to at least meet in the video conference and concrete some plans together.
